Strategic Planning is both fundamental and intuitive.  It requires a rigorous and fundamental approach alongside a more creative pattern of thinking.  My process adheres to a set of fundamentals that are relevant to virtually all types and sizes of businesses while still leaving room for freedom to explore new alternative ways to view the business.  Understanding how to move an organization through this process combines the best of both worlds— and requires facilitation that understands that one size does not fit all.

Advising vs. Facilitating

There is a fine line between advising and facilitating.  You are experts in your domain, your industry, your position in the marketplace.  Yet having an external view of a seasoned executive often can pose questions that have never really been asked.  The ability to provide “best practices” often from industries outside of yours can provide new ways to look at issues (and potential solutions) that others have experienced.
